Text books must reflect constitutional ideals not impose ideological blinkers: SIO Karnataka

Bengaluru: Text book content revision exercise was carried out by committee headed by Rohit Chakrathirtha. The changes suggested subsequently seem to impose ideological blinkers, create communal divide and do not reflect multicultural and plural realities of the society. Many questions and concerns were raised right from the beginning of the exercise.

Committee entrusted with carrying out review has its chairman who do have any academic credentials or expertise to oversee the process of review and ensure strict adherence to constitutional values and NCF. Government must clarify on what basis was Rohit Chakrathirtha was appointed as chairman of the committee.

Text books must remain independent of the political authority of the times. Change in government and political leadership must not warrant change in the content of text books to reflect and satisfy the views and perspectives of the current ruling dispensation. SIO Karnataka demands that government must clarify as why the review process was initiated within less than 5 years of last review? 83 titles of textbooks of social science from class VI to X and Kannada from classes from I to X are revised and approved. Kannada textbook of class X itself has six chapters removed and eight new chapters added under the supervision of the current committee. What has prompted for such major changes in a single textbook within this short span?

The committee to review the text book content and suggest changes did not have the diverse voices from the social spectrum. The authors whose contents it has suggested, the changes that are being made based on this committee’s recommendations all indicate outright ideological bias and exclusionary. Selective omissions related to Periyar, Narayan Guru and Bhagat Singh and Vivekananda reflect the kind of approach this committee has taken. This is bound to create communal divide and will have far reaching impact on the young and formative minds. The committee should have ensured strict adherence to constitutional ideals, scientific temper.

Any changes to text books must be in compliance with NCF. Text book Revision exercise must not be undertaken to impose any ideological and dogmatist biases. Textbooks must reflect the plurality and diversity of our society. Attempts to define and restrict knowledge sources by current ruling dispensation and subsequent justifications and reasoning give raise to concerns that attempts of manipulating young minds are being made.

SIO Karnataka demands that the suggested changes be immediately put on hold and consider suggestions from academicians and stakeholders.

Karnataka budget misses out on key aspects and fails to fulfil urgent needs

Karnataka government presented its budget on 4-Mar’22. The budget on cursory glance appears to tick all the right boxes and shows right intent. But the budget misses out on key aspects and fails to address few very immediate and important requirements.

Though the education budget appears to have increased and forms a major percentage of the budgetary allocations, it does not address the key needs. While the decision to regulate fees in private medical colleges is welcome, below are few points which have not been addressed at all.

  • Hampi University, only Kannada university in the world has been facing severe fund crunch. Apart from mere announcement of intent to plan and strengthen university, the budget does not spell out any grants or roadmap to address the fund crunch faced by university. Similarly, no specific grants have been announced for any large universities like VTU, BU.
  • All the sections are limping back to normalcy after 2 grave years of pandemic. Many students have lost their parents and many parents have lost their jobs or seen their businesses suffer serious losses. The budget does not provide any relief in terms of scholarships to students and also steps to get drop outs back to classrooms find no mention in the budget.
  • Announcement to merge multiple residential schools run by minority department in a place is grossly misplaced. It may result in many students dropping out and will have negative impact on the educational upliftment of the minorities. Mere grant of 25cr for upliftment of infrastructure in these schools in no means sufficient.
  • No special funds have been set aside for grandeur of implementing NEP 2020.

In terms of minority development and upliftment, the budget appears to be too little and confounding. Meagre allocation of 50crs each has been allocated for development of Christians and together for Jains, Sikhs, Buddhists. However, Budget does not spell out any grants specifically for Muslims and other minorities.

Another striking miss has been the lack of allocation for environmental conservation and development of sustainable means. Climate crisis are real and the budget does spell out any plans or provides any grants for corrective actions apart from funds for mitigating impact on natural and human impact on forests.

While budget does mention few plans on restoring on forts in Bidar and Kalburgi it ignores other monuments especially in Vijayapura. ‘Adopt a monument’ or in other words privatising historical monuments appears to be step in wrong direction and may pose challenge to maintenance of structure in original form as private firms may lack required expertise to maintain monuments.

Levying fees for accessing sport stadiums by introducing pay and use model negates the very objective of sports promotion. This steps grossly hampers the accessibility to many.

SIO Karnataka feels that the current budget succeeds in building perception but it fails to recognize key requirements and address actual issues. After two long years of pandemic a budget that would address the pertinent woes of all sections and sectors was expected but the current budget appears to have failed in this regard.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು :- ಕಾಲೇಜು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ರಾಜ್ಯದ 440 ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ 14,183 ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರು ಕಳೆದ ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಭೋದನಾ ತರಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೊರೆದು ತಮ್ಮ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳ ಈಡೇರಿಕೆಗಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವು ಸಂವಿಧಾನದ ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಹಕ್ಕಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡುವುದು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ, ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 1,690 ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳು ಖಾಲಿ ಇದ್ದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ತಾನೆ? ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮನವರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ.

ಅನೇಕ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಪದವಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ಶೇ.55ರಷ್ಟು ಅಂಕಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದು, ಎನ್ಇಟಿ/ಎಸ್ಎಲ್ಇಟಿ ಅಥವಾ ಪಿ.ಎಚ್ ಡಿ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಿಗೆ ರೂ.13,000/- ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ/ಎಂ.ಫಿಲ್ ಪದವೀಧರ ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಿಗೆ ರೂ.11,000/- ಗಳ ಮಾಸಿಕ ಗೌರವ ಸಂಭಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ, ಆದರೆ ಈ ಗೌರವಧನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿ ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳಿಗೊಮ್ಮೆ ವರ್ಷದ ಎಂಟು ತಿಂಗಳು ಮಾತ್ರ ಕೊಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಈ ಅಲ್ಪವೇತನ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಇಂದಿನ ಹಣದುಬ್ಬರದ ದಿನಮಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರು ಸಂಸಾರವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲು ತೀರಾ ಕಷ್ಟವನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಿಗೆ ಗೌರವಧನ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಭದ್ರತೆ ನೀಡುವುದು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರ ಅಳಲಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ.

ಅರೆಕಾಲಿಕ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಾಗಿ ಅಥವಾ ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಾಗಿ ನೇಮಕಗೊಂಡು ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವವರನ್ನು ಖಾಯಂಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಸೇವಾ ಭದ್ರತೆ ಒದಗಿಸಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಲೇಜು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಲೀನಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು ಅಥವಾ ಸೇವಾ ಸಕ್ರಮಾತಿ ಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ನ್ಯಾಯಯುತ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಮಂದೇ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಭಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರನ್ನು ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೇ ಹಿಂದೆಂಟು ಹಾಕುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರ, ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ಪಕ್ಷ ಆ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯ ಜೀವನ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಷ್ಟಾದರೂ ಆಸರೆಯಾಗಬೇಕಿತ್ತು, ಆದಾವುದು ಆಗದೆ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರು ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಗೆ ಇಳಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳ ಈಡೇರಿಕೆಗಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಭೋದನಾ ತರಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೊರೆದು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಇದರಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಕಲಿಕೆಗೆ ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ನಷ್ಟವಾಗಲಿದೆ, ಪಾಠ-ಕಲಿಕೆಯು ವಿಳಂಭವಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸಕ್ತ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷದ ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಭಾವ ಬೀರುವ ಸಂಭವವಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಅಧ್ಯಯನಕ್ಕೆ ಅನಾನುಕೂಲವಾಗಲಿದೆ, ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅನೇಕ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳು ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಅವಲಂಬನೆಯಾಗಿವೆ, ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರ ನ್ಯಾಯಯುತ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಈಡೇರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಎಸ್.ಐ.ಓ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಮಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಪೀರ್ ಲಟಗೇರಿ ರವರು ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಗುಲ್ಬರ್ಗಾ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಸ್ನಾತಕ ಪದವಿಯ ಅಂತಿಮ ವರ್ಷದ ರೆಗ್ಯುಲರ್ ಮತ್ತು ರಿಪೀಟರ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶವನ್ನು ಶೀಘ್ರ ಪ್ರಕಟ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಎಸ್.ಐ.ಓ ಕಲಬುರಗಿ ಆಗ್ರಹ.

ಗುಲ್ಬರ್ಗಾ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ ಕಲಬುರಗಿ ಇದರ ಸಂಯೋಜಿತ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಸಂಗ ಮಾಡಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸ್ನಾತಕ ಪದವಿಯ ಅಂತಿಮ ವರ್ಷದ ರೆಗ್ಯುಲರ್ ಮತ್ತು ರಿಪೀಟರ್ ನ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ಇನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಕಟ ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲ, ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅನೇಕ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಬಿ.ಇಡಿ ಕೋರ್ಸಿನ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ಪ್ರಕಟ ಆಗದೆ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ಅನೇಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸದ ದಾಖಲಾತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

2021-22 ನೇ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಾಲಿಗೆ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಬಿ.ಇಡಿ(B.Ed) ಕೋರ್ಸಿನ ವ್ಯಾಸಂಗಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಕೋಟಾದಡಿ ದಾಖಲಾತಿ ಬಯಸುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ವೆಬ್ ಸೈಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆನ್ಲೈನ್ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಆನ್ಲೈನ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಕೆಯಾದ ಅರ್ಜಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ, ಮೆರಿಟ್ ನಿಯಮದನ್ವಯ ಸೀಟು ಹಂಚಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅರ್ಹತಾ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರ ಅನ್ವಯ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಮೂಲ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪತ್ರಗಳ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆಗಾಗಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ನೋಡಲ್ ಕೇಂದ್ರ/ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ (CTE/DIET) ಹಾಜರಾಗಲು ದಿನಾಂಕವನ್ನು ನಿಗದಿಪಡಿಸಿದೆ.

ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಸರಿರುವ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮಗೆ ಸೀಟು ಹಂಚಿಕೆಯಾದ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ/ಕಾಲೇಜಿಗೆ ದಾಖಲಾಗಲು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸುವವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮೂಲ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ.

ಅರ್ಹತಾ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಮೂಲ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪತ್ರಗಳ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆಯು ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 2 ರಿಂದ 10 ನೇ ತಾರೀಖಿನವರೆಗೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ಮತ್ತು ದಾಖಲಾತಿ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾತಕ ಪದವಿಯ ಉತ್ತೀರ್ಣ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವುದು ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ವೇಳಾಪಟ್ಟಿ ಯಂತೆ ನಿಗದಿತ ದಿನದಂದು ತಪ್ಪದೇ ಹಾಜರಾಗಲು ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಅನೇಕ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪತ್ರ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗಿದ್ದು ಪದವಿಯ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಸೀಟು ಹಂಚಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು ದಾಖಲಾತಿ ಮಾಡಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಳಲನ್ನು ತೋಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸದೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಲಭಿಸುವಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತರಾಗುವ ಆತಂಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಇದರಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಲಿದೆ.

ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವು ಈ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ಪ್ರಕಟ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ ನಡೆಸಬೇಕೆಂಬುದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಾದ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸಹಕಾರದ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಂದಾಣಿಕೆಯ ವ್ಯವಹಾರದ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಎಸ್.ಐ.ಓ ಕಲಬುರಗಿ ಘಟಕದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಸಿರಾಜ್ ಶಾಹ್ನಾ ಅವರು ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

KSLU ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಸಂಯೋಜಿತ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ಗೊಂದಲವನ್ನು ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಗೆಹರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಎಸ್.ಐ.ಓ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಆಗ್ರಹ.

ಎಸ್.ಐ.ಓ ಧಾರವಾಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ನಿಯೋಗವು ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕಾನೂನು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ (KSLU) ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ಗೊಂದಲವನ್ನು ಶೀಘ್ರವೇ ಬಗೆಹರಿಸಿ, ಅನುಕೂಲಕರ ಮಾದರಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಡೆಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಭವಿಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ನೆರವಾಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ವಿನಂತಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಅಬ್ದುಸ್ ಸಲಾಮ್ ವಾಜಿದ್, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಲಹಾ ಸಮಿತಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಫಿರಾಸತ್ ಮುಲ್ಲಾ, ಜೈದ್ ಗೌಂಡಿ, ಇಸ್ಮಾಯಿಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕಾನೂನು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ (KSLU) ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ ಇದರ ಸಂಯೋಜಿತ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕಳೆದ ಕೆಲ ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳಿಂದ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ವಿರೋಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ವ್ಯಾವಹಾರಿಕ ನಡವಳಿಕೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತೀರಾ ಅಸಮಾಧಾನ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಕೋವಿಡ್ 19 ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡೀ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯು ಕಳೆದ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷದ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದಷ್ಟು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸುವ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿತ್ತು ಅದರ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಬಾರ್ ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್ ಆಫ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ (B.C.I)ವು ಕಾನೂನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ನಾಲ್ಕು ವಿಧದ ಮಾದರಿಯನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿತ್ತು, ಆದರೆ ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕಾನೂನು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವು ಈ ಶಿಫಾರಸನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣನೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೇ ದೈಹಿಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಸುತ್ತೋಲೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿತ್ತು, ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಈ ನಡೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾನೂನು ಹೋರಾಟವನ್ನು ಸಹ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ ಇದನ್ನು ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ, ಆದಷ್ಟೂ ಬೇಗ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಇತ್ಯರ್ಥ ಮಾಡುವತ್ತ ಗಮನ ಹರಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ.

ಕಾನೂನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ದಾಖಲಾತಿ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದು ಬೋಧನಾ ತರಗತಿಗಳು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಸಕ್ತ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷ ತುಂಬಾ ವಿಳಂಬವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೋಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಈ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಭೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದರು ಸಹ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವು ಇದುವರೆಗೂ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಸ್ಪಂದನೆ ನೀಡದೆ ತಮ್ಮದೇ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನ್ಯಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಆರೋಪವಾಗಿದೆ.

ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವು ತಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಹಿತದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ರೆಗ್ಯುಲರ್ ಮತ್ತು ರಿಪೀಟರ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿ ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನದ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಿ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ-ಸಂವಾದವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ಗೊಂದಲವನ್ನು ಬಗೆಹರಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ನಡೆಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಎಸ್.ಐ.ಓ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಮಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಪೀರ್ ಲಟಗೇರಿ ಅವರು ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
